    I also am the type that enjoys driving. If I can make the trip with my wife and kids, and maybe hit up a new destination like a park, cafe, ice cream joint, etc.....then making the pick up=subsidizing wonderful family time.

    E scrap is E scrap if thats all you pursue, Yet for sure if I drove 70 miles for that I just know based on law of averages I'll find some items in the town
    work out your pick up on trash day , this way your gonna find some tv's a microwave a vac you will find your gas money .
    I often take apart at the curb NEAT and put cover back so the trash guys do there thing anyway . But it takes a little nerve to do-it You just gotta own the street Some times you end up finding 10 tv's in a town
