What the hell, I may as well jump in on this one. I worked with a guy who owned a nice condo and rented it out. Long story short, the renters trashed the place and played every angle NJ laws could afford them, and screwed my co-worker out of thousands of dollars over 9 months time. He even offered them cash to just leave, and they refused. They knew what they were doing and didn't give a **** that it almost bankrupted him with loss of income to pay the mortgage, and lawyers fees.
I am just saying there are reasons for evictions and they rarely surprize people. Usually there is plenty of notice and they could have sold the stuff they had left behind to pay off some of it.
Bottom line, we don't know those evicted in this thread and for all we know it was already "karma" in the works that Travis got the goods and those people got the boot.
Again, the bottom line is we don't know, so I won't judge.
EDIT: I grew up lower income and living in apartments, so I have seen people evicted first hand, including hookers.
