I don't know about an LLC, but under my S Corp, I can do whatever I want. I can work my handyman trade, or I practice my computer repair business, or I can do computer help and training, or anything else I want to do as income. If you decide you don't want to use the LLC for e-scrap business, you and use it for a repair and training business... Just don't name the LLC something on the order of "Complete Computer Destruction as Well as the Annihilation of all Usable Data LLC" or you may have trouble attracting repair business.

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

How would that even fit on a truck?

Read up. Take apart some computers, and start small. As for resale, it's just something that grows. When I started my computer repair and sales business, I ran newspaper ads and eventually moved up to radio ads (Radio is overpriced out here). It's built off of that. Now, I'm doing the same thing with E-Waste. Set up a couple of "free collection events", and bring business cards, and have signs on your truck. The people will come.

Two tips for you: You may want to charge for CRTs. And, basements really stink for E-Waste. After the 150th time up the stairs to my truck to unload, it gets really old
