    Antilock brake computers

Didnt see anything on this but something else to grab when stripping a car. The abs computer on a 98expedition there may be other computers but not sure. The abs computer under the air filter.
It was pretty easy to get to.
Remove air filter, than take the 4 or 6 mount bolts (mine were torx screw T25) and disconnect the 2 front plugs (1 small & a large one) and 1 more under the computer. I only noticed the large plug and connector had them.
If the has alrwady be covered than sorry for another post.

Did you dismantle it or sell it whole? Was there a good board? Mike

No i didnt i was trouble shooting wires and noticed it when i was shooting the wire for continuity. I was curious also regarding boaed quality. Tried to take the cover off but a screw is rusted out so i stopped messin with it cause ford doesnt make them anymore and they dont have a alternate part number and was told to check the junk yards.

I've pulled 2 or 3 of them from various vehicles. None have ever sold. May need to learn "what's hot" and "what's not" possibly!
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
