    ok first off for pontiac there is no "big block" or "small block" per se all their v-8's were built on the same block architecture and i sold a running pontiac 350 last year on ebay for $300 and the guy drove from OH to pick it up so i would say a 400 is worth something if you got the time to fool with it. with the old ford i would say scrap is your best bet, unfortunately as stated above unless the cab is in exceptional shape nobody really likes fooling with the old Heavy duty trucks like that. and please look up prices if your going to scrap the Hudson Hornet, those cars are hard to find parts for and even simple things like emblems can get you a few dollars
