Ahh, GM and that good old double-wall pipe. Nasty stuff.

Shaun, some of my yard guys do the Caravans the same way- Rip out the floor! Hey, it's junk anyway..And sometimes it's just fun to destroy stuff and know that you won't be in any trouble

Dave, your Bonneville cat was either a Large GM or possibly an X-Body grade if it was a good number. Minimum $105 up to $160. There are two numbers on them, the eight-digit one with no letters is the one you need. I know the Bonneville is one of the models that can have the X-Body. These converters look 100% identical to a standard Large GM, the OEM number is the only difference. Higher loadings of precious metals in the good-number ones make them worth extra $$$. Some Bonnies, LeSabres, Rivieras, and I believe a few big Oldsmobiles in the 97-2000 range can have the good ones. Some of the Chevy Blazer/Jimmy cats are X-Body as well.

Similarly, the big Cadillac Narrow Gap (the "traditional" X-Body), can be just a plain Large GM if it's not a good number.
