    Where I am at.. My County Does have 1 day a year where they will take tires- for free- your limit is 4 qty for free and $5 after that
    Also the Dump here will ONLY take them if they have been Quartered. That is a ton of work to quarter say 100 tires or so.
    Believe me I've tried every angle I can to rid myself of tires.

    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

    My local transfer station takes them in with the regular trash.

    My yard will take steel rims with rubber as steel shred. They also will take aluminum rims with rubber, usually $8-10 each.. And I don't live in Canada.
