    its sad to say, when i started we had a set of ford explorer wheels looked brand new and had tires about 80% i think i listed them on cl for $100, i got offered everything but the $100, scrapped em out im sure i got 60 something for the wheels and $32 for the tires, i had some chrysler wheels to came off a sebring same story, its not worth the trouble answering the phone, waiting for someone not showing up , or someone trying to trade you some chickens or a video game, ill say again its really not worth it imo, to be honest your buddy has probably found out the same thats why hes scrapping them
