I scrapped that exact same airbag.

Never take one apart, they are **** dangerous. Theres several bits in it that are explosive but definatly don't look like it & I'm not telling yah what bits.

Except, that I never expected it to go bang, that wee sparkle shoulda told me not to muck around with it.

& then suddenly, theres a huge bang, rooms fulla a 8 foot long x 4 foot dia rapidly expanding smoke ball, my eyelid, lip & chin are bleeding & for some reason... my ears are not ringing.

But I can hear my neighbour, whos a Vet, having a brisk run around his property looking for the source of the boom.

The wires that run to the airbag are two thin yellow wires with yellow clips, the contacts do have a really really tiny eenee weenee painted on gold finish, just at the contacts contact faces only, so little its not worth going after it.
