Sorry. Looks like I misunderstood the original question. My core buyer also gives a reasonable price on harness with ends still on, so I don't mess with it. Maybe I'm missing out, but I chop it out, and only worry about discarding the plastic loom cover, so I don't mind. I don't have a buyer near me either. It's a road trip every 1-2 years. This year, it looks like we might start meeting annually at a place where I make a planned trip anyway.....fingers crossed.
