I see lots of 5 working dell flat screens in good shape go for ~$80 at auction all the time.

I sell bad LCD monitors for $5 and up to a local buyer and working for $20 and up. Not worth my time to break these down- look for someone on Craigslist or electronics repair shops.
what grade would those boards be?

I know this is an older thread but I was wondering about laptop screens remover from the laptop and are most likely non working since my e-waste source pulls all the useful components.
I've gotten some awesome gold in higher end monitors and some flat screens have good gold. All have some. I have ended up with a pile of bulbs I don't wanna trash but dunno what to do with lol

I honestly have very few answers myself but GOOGLE has all the answers because if it is on the internet it must be true
In the far recesses of my mind I recall that one of the retail companies had set up a recycle program for these type of bulbs. I would start with Best Buy and go from there.
Again going into the far corner of my mind I believe we've had florescent bulbs for nearly 100 years. I've had them fall out of overhead light fixtures while in school and break on the floor. We know more now than we did then but at the same time I feel lots of excitement is generated in reaction to products like this in recent times.
At the same time we have all the concern over proper handling of these bulbs we had the Feds require we all change our house holds over to the "new" bulbs which can only be manufactured in China.
Good luck , Mike

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
Ahhhh I didn't even think of chain stores. Makes sense. Parts house taking old oil type situation. Ty Sir. As always your input is more than welcome and knowledge is admirable..... Sad to realize that we can only use things that can be manufactured in a country that doesn't have a adequate regulation program to say the least. (Let them do the dirty work while we turn our heads and use their products knowing what they do to our planet) again ty.
Sincerely Si
