Took apart two large flat screen TVs today. Both had the light-dispersing plastic pieces. Problem is, they were too thin and therefore flexible. I need them to be thicker and solid, sorta like plexiglass I guess. I have a suspicion that I would have to look for older model larger LCD monitors or average-sized TVs for those, but that's just a guess based on "older - bigger/thicker, newer - smaller/thinner" rule of thumb. May be wrong on this one though
