The problem is they want them all tested and sorted by rating from what I have seen. As far as actual scrap value, there is very minimal recovery to be had. IC/Flats on the other hand have good resale around $5-6 / # last I seen.
I know relays have a copper driven motor in them with silver contact pads as any switch if you take them apart, I have read that the tiny capacitors (Monolithic Ceramic) yield quite well even as high or higher then ICs.
