    I've also found to beat the ceramic rings with the claw side of a claw-hammer in a gravel parking lot works fastest for removing the copper. (pick up the plastic after, leave the ceramic in the gravel)
    I wonder how many flat tires that has caused?? When you bust that the shards are really sharp. Just my .02
