Got screwed today for the 3rd time on the same shipment. Total lost hours (vacation, etc.) from my full time job -18, roughly equivalent to $1,000. I swear people don't want to work and companies have no ethics.1st day, 1st company claimed a bad address, they couldn't pick up a phone and get directions. They have been here before. Oh, and it was Friday before Labor day. Rescheduled for the following Tuesday between 12 and 2. Didn't get a phone call. They filled the trailer and went back to the terminal. I had to call to find out.
Today was a different company. At 1130, they said pickup between 12 and 230. At 4, they were at least 1.5 hours away and wouldn't be there until after 6. Sorry, I have a family and a life.
These guys suck!
