    I drove a flat bed truck for a while and all my loads were FTL(full truck load) and no pallet jack or lift gate involved. I did have to tarp most of my loads and was to receive an additional payment for doing so. I can not tell you if the trucking company charged for the tarpping of the load every time but I rarely got paid for it.

    Just because you get charged for something does not mean the driver gets the extra pay.
