    Well you have one thing going for you. You have the gumption to knock on doors and look for material. Figure out a way to get that water heater (have it stick out of your trunk or something, anything), go turn it in for scrap, then come back and tell us of your success. After that all of the ribbing you are getting on here will turn into patting on the back and chants of "way to go", "you made it happen", etc.

    You have it in you, go make it happen. Then come back and tell us about it. Oh, don't forget to take a picture of it sticking out of your car, or you rolling it home, or carting it on a dolly.
