I just recently had them rule in my favour. i sold a mobile phone i didnt need through a new contract renewal (i'm not big on owning things that lose 50% of their value in a few months) He said the item didnt arrive then it turns out he has a different address for ebay and paypal, -i sent it to the paypal one which i havent always in the past. He says he no longer lived at that address and that it was my fault he didnt get his item because the people at the old address admitted no knowledge of the item. He says i should have sent it to his ebay address as thats where he did the purchase from. Because he kept cutting and pasting his message about where he did and didnt live i was able to point this out to paypal and also pointed towards their seller protection which stated i must send it to their paypal address. I was still relieved however as i really needed the money when they ruled in my favour. I wonder, would he have filed the same complaint had i sent it to his ebay address w/o thinking? I'd have been screwed then.
