Getting Heavy Junk Out Of 'The Swamp' ?

I'm doing a bit of a property cleanup in the near future, and I am wondering if there is an easier way of removing heavy junk from an area that is wet.
I'm planning on using a 2 ton come-a-long to rip a 1960's style fridge and several rusted out appliances out of the mud, however it it a very long trek through swampy woods back to where I can load it.

I do not think using a sled and running a half + mile of winch cable is practle, especially since it's just me who will be doing the job, and I can not get my oxy-acetylene bottles back there to cut the stuff up. Any suggestions on how I can remove the stuff that is easier than manually dragging it out on a sled ?

See if the swamp dries up during the summer. If so wait till then. If not, how did they get the stuff out there in the first place? If it floods maybe with enough water maybe you can put it on a raft or something. Hard to tell without pictures. Just some thoughts on it.

There's wet and then there's wet. It might be better to wait until things dry up and then tow them out with a four wheeler. If you're itching to do something .... prep the job for later on. Cut a path in with a chainsaw and then lay down the logs & brush to make a road for yourself.

Seems an awful lot like work though .....

If it's just for the money ..... it might not be worth doing.

No answers but 1 question would be why? Why worry about some metal that's a half mile + back in the swampy woods unless you're getting paid and paid well.

Why not rent smaller oxy-acetylene bottles?
