    And you just gave me an idea of a use in my pickup bed for a scrap aluminum ladder that I have!! I've built a frame for tubs that fits inside the bedside frame notches, but I've built it out of wood, which rots. I use this frame to hold the tub still at my day job as a poop scooper, and I use the frame to help me lift heavy items into the truck bed... think Sony Trinitron TVs, pool heaters, etc.



    An aluminum ladder, cut to fit, with a rung cut out so the 18 gallon tub would fit in the gap might be just the ticket... and it won't rot over time like wood does.
