It's not AZ but the problem i had with stripped HDD cases was that the guy at the yard didn't know what they were and tried to give me sheet price.



Best thing with shipping e-waste is to do the math. Just a rough guess but it might be .80 cents a pound to ship ?

The buy price listed by one of our more popular buyers is 9.25 / lb for HDD boards. Deduct .80 for shipping and you're left with a net profit of 8.45 / lb. That's not bad as e-waste goes.

It would be a different story if shipping mixed computer wire. That's listed at .60 cents per pound. Deduct .80 / lb for shipping and you've got a net loss of .20 cents a pound.

It's all a numbers game and a bit of experimentation to figure out what works best in your own particular situation.
