    Yards around here used to always pay peddlers sheet iron price no mater what they brought in steel wise, then about 3 years ago a new place opened up paying different grades of steel now most of the other yards do as well.

    Most places now have



    Sheet Iron
    Clean Sheet Iron
    Torch P&S
    Prepared

    So now I have to have more piles of stuff around here! LOL Lately as steel has been sitting in alleys for awhile before it gets picked up due to low prices, you can generally leave it for a few days. I then fill up what I have around the house and get the rest on the way to the scrapyard.
