This is going to be way off topic so I am sorry,

We all have diffrent opinions, in this great country of ours that is our right. In the rural areas of my state it is allowed to burn garbage. If you live in a town or city and they have a garbage and recycling program then it is illegal to burn. "Despite the health and environmental impacts of burning trash, one-third of Iowa’s cities still allow it. It’s also allowed in rural areas except within Polk County." That was by Mindy Kralicek Air Quality Information Specialist, Iowa DNR. I am not saying it is a good thing but it isn't illegal. Burning tires seems to be. My area doesn't have a local garbage pick up or a recycling program. Alot of these small towns around here can't afford to recycle because by the time they rent the bins and have to pay to have things processed it costs to much money. I am not going to drive my garbage 30 miles to the nearest sanitary landfill and have them charge me to drop off my garbage when I can go outside and burn it.

I am a conservationist in the sense that I improve my land and plant native flora and encourage animals to my property. I just don't see the point in wasting my time and gas and money to get rid of house hold garbage.

I am sorry that we got way off topic.

Geiser You are absolutly right atleast from what I have seen. It does end up about even.
