I also have all the old (1970's) metal ductwork that I pulled out from under a duplex. I'd be happy for a scrapper to haul it off. It's mostly still covered with insulation... is that worth a scrappers time? I put a post on Craigslist for free for the duct work but have had no responses. I'm thinking maybe it's not worth dealing with the insulation just for the steel. Someone could back a trailer right up to it pretty much. Any ideas if this is worth someone dealing with?

By chance is the insulation covering the duct work asbestos if it is you have hazardous waste to deal with. Your 1970's dusct work comes from an erra where it is a distiinct possibility for your sake hope not.
