I’ve seen your ads. They make me sick! haha I’m just kidding. Your ads are fine. I don’t recall getting any grief over scrap ads, but every once in awhile someone will boo hoo about something I have for sale. A few recent ads. One was for a pile of lumber. Guy messaged and asked why would he pay my asking price when he could go buy it new?

Okay? If that's how you feel, go buy the new lumber and leave me alone? I asked if he was a bored troll with too much time on his hands? Would he feel better about himself if I lower the price? He said he was a retired bored troll. Ahh. Okay.

Ended up selling the lumber for close to asking, so whatever.

Another emailed me an offer for a trailer I had listed for $7,000. Guy had the stones to offer 900 bucks “because that’s all it was worth”.

Told him to troll somewhere else. “okay, but we have to start the negotiations somewhere”. Right. Then I get a call, and I suspect it was from the same person, offering $1,500. I passed. Sold it a short time later to someone that actually had a clue for $5,700.

People are idiots with an abundance of time on their hands. All you can do is move on and hope the next person isn’t a complete moron.
