    The phone was my sisters, the screen is shattered, it turns on but the screen shows only color like on a tv, I can also post a pic of it tomorrow.

    It's more then likely the screen part that has the touch sensor in it. Their not that hard to replace if you find instructions and a replacement screen. There's a place near me in the mall that replaces screens all the time(they scatter the broken ones out to show how bad some have gotten). Not sure what their prices are though... and as Burt said, they will sell on Ebay but it might take a bit since the screen's broken if that's what you're looking to do with it but before you do, I'd find a way to wipe it first so no personal information is left on it(can't tell you how many times I've bought something that's had someone elses stuff on it).
