I've seen jokers offering as much as $900 for junk cars. I just can't see ANY money at those prices. If I had to guess, they are baiting and switching.



If that S10 still runs, I'd resell it. At the least sell usable parts off it if you have the space and time. Otherwise, you pay $500 for it and go to scrap, don't be surprised when less than $500 comes back your way.

Look on the door of that truck to see what it weighs, then figure out what your return would be.
