I've recently SCORED at a clothing recycling place. They put up a huge sign that says, "Free recycling" and I swear, it looks like it's written in crayon. They really only want the clothing, which I was informed, sells for .28lb. For what and to whom, I do not know, but the whole warehouse smells like feet. However, next to the odoriferous warehouse I noticed multiple, giant boxes filled with a variety of electronics.
Scrappers predictable question: "And what do you get for those?"
Scrapper dream answer: "We pay the scrapyard to come get 'em. Help yourself."
    (STAY CALM!!!!)
But just before I broke out into song, down the ramp comes a forklift full of B-U-tiful computer towers.
    This scrappers response: "Umm...wha...how...umm...daaaaaaaaaaa!"
He says, "We get 5 cents a pound for those. Want 'em?"
(STAY CALM!!! Find chump change. Offer your shoes.)
He said, "All you gotta do is make a big sign and it's all free. You'd be amazed! But get a cat because you WILL eventually get mice."
Yeah...not for me, but that's just my 2 cents. (five cents)

There's a lady here in California known as the "Rag Queen". She has made millions dealing in used clothing, fabric and the rag business side of scrap. Doesn't really matter what you do, just be good at it!
