    I have the same dilemma at times. For me it depends on price and quantity. I tend to save up a insulated wire because I get a better price at an out of town yard and if I have enough it makes sense to make the trip. The difference for my trips to a yard more than an hour away netted $300+ per trip and the wife got to shop at an Asian market.

    Lots depends on vehicles as others mentioned, but also quantity, price difference and can you make a trip out of it. I've done pick ups in conjunction with runs to other yards. Good luck, Mike
