    Lol........its not what you buy......its what you build lol. what years your truck? Never mind I didn't read far enough down the 7.3L is a great motor, youll need a set of head studs and air bags or helper springs in the back. If I had to buy a ford the 7.3L is the one to buy. Destroke it...put a 12v in it and your truck willl run forever. Fords make strong trucks..its just a shame to have to lift the body off the frame to work on the engine. Nothing wrong with your truck just needs a few up grades before you start pullin weight.

    Ive put over 3grand into my truck in the last 3 months, tranny went, now its in getting injector lines, and it still needs 3 coolent lines and a throtel cable all on order. When you work your rig it never ends
