It costs about a grand to get the equipment to do the job along with the experience and licenses to do it so not many people are going to do it for free. Also a lot of yards won't pay for the scrap appliances if your CFC license isn't already on file.

I know of yards that will take them, but i wouldnt turn them in whole. I would break them down for separating metals.
