    Yup.. In Indiana.. get caught selling them or a yard buying them = Jail Time and Fines.

    I found a good article when someone offered me 3 of them.. Had to pass as you can't legally sell them- they are the property of the brewer and the major brewers all have them embossed with their names on them.

    Beer Makers Losing Money on Missing Kegs

    Brewers Issue:
    While only about 12 percent of the nation's beer is sold in kegs each year, it costs brewers as much as $150 to replace each keg, so the thefts have a big impact. In the past few years, breweries have collectively lost about 300,000 kegs a year, Becker said, out of an estimated 10.7 million in circulation.

    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
