    id like to have a few plastic barrels to use as rain barrels, would probably save me $100 a year in water i wouldnt have to buy.

    i live a few miles from a pepsi bottling company,they have an abundance of free blue 55 gallon drums.my favorite thing is knowing all they ever had in them was pop syrup or other pop ingredients in them.they do use a type of amonia but they wont let those barrells go,they dispose of them properly.at least thats what they say

    I use ones that had juice concentrate for rain and gardening barrels. I just hooked up a solar system battery and water pump today, next I need to get 8 more barrels since the 2 I have now only last 2 days. It seems as though most of them have pretty toxic stuff in them, the ones I use for scrap had sulfuric acid-yowzers.
