    I think it would be cool just to get it refined and get some gold back.

    i think its worth alot more on ebay than having it directly refined, like i said before not much surface area there

    surface area x thickness of plating = yield

    low surface area per pound = low yield

    Think about it like this if you sell it for $800 thats 1/2 ounce of gold you could buy. If you have it refined your not even gonna get 1/4 ounce from that board.

    I wouldn't think that there would be enough board material for a refiner to even be able to mess with. Don't they like bigger loads of material??

    There is probably enough material for a home refiner to run it.

    Board sold for $400 on ebay. Not bad, im content with that. Much better than scrap price.

    That is very true, you will get more on ebay out of it. Dollar-wise, it's always more beneficial to sell something like this on ebay. I sell a lot of material that I get, but I have also been harvesting some things to be refined. Why? It doesn't make much sense, but I just like the idea of seeing the product of something that is collected. Maybe I just like busy work
