You are all wrong. I guess you have never heard of lcd boards????

These are about 30% fingers and solid plated by weight. Also you can recycle the plastic and repurpose the plastic sheets or recycle them also. The only part i havnt been able to find a use for is the lcd panel itself.
Id hate for you to throw those out on the curb for someone like me to find. =)

lcd board fingers / solid plated trimmings $80-$150 per pound worst case scenario you get the finger base rate of $80 per pound There are also inverter boards and low grade boards in flat panel monitors, depending on what type you are scrapping.
The ribbon cable end fingers are worth $300+ per pound, the substrate is super thin/light. They can clearly be seen in the 1st picture i posted of complete boards.

Do you have a place to sell the plastic? All I have is a pop bottle /milk jug city recycle center and don't have a plastic baler.

As a general rule all plastic with the recycle logo on it can be recycled. If it says ABS on it you need to check with your local provider. Most of the stuff plastic were getting is ABS. The flat panel monitors should all have the recycle logo on there plastic parts. If your plastic has the recycle logo on it i wouldnt hesitate to put it in with the plastic at the local recycling center, and alot of times they sort the abs out of the regular plastics and resell it separately.Originally Posted by KrazyK

ebay, thin ribbon cable double sided gold fingers. Remember not all fingers are created equal. There about 20 diff subtypes of fingers.
Ive sold 1.4 ounces for $50 of the extremely thin solid plated stuff, thats $600 per pound. Solid plated goes for double of the finger rate or better.
The lot in this picture went for $50 on ebay.
