    Late night stripping the wire in the pic above. After stripping the black insulatation off I began stripping the inner wires. Most of the wire is so brittle its not allowing me to strip past 3 or 4 inches without getting hung up in my stripper. I stripped as much of the "good" wire I could have. I reweighed the wire I could not strip easily and it weighed in at 66.5 lbs. This will be considered insultated thhn and will fetch $1.62 per lb. So, if I did the numbers right, I would have recieved around $82.80 for leaving the wire as is. I should get $105.30 for the wire as it is now. The difference being $22.00 more. It took me about 2 hours total plus I yielded a few pounds of #1 which should pay out 3.20 per lb. Worth it in my opinion.
