One of these might speed things up some, be able to sift the dirt out and then just dump the brass into a box or bag.

An you thought the guy who had to drive the cart and pick up golf balls while people are hitting them off the driving range had it rough..imagine shots being fired as your picking up casings..

Like was posted if you haven't done it already, check with a magnet, most shells tend to be plated. At least in my experience at ranges.

I had that thought too. I do have a shop vac that runs of the car power adapter.

In AZ, I would go out side of town. Anywhere out of city limits is open season to shoot. A simple leaf rake and flat shovel would net me avg $30 for 2hrs clean up. Not much I know, but always good help in a pinch. If you have a range, you are looking at a good staedy income.

Ask the range if you can place 5 gallon buckets at each firing stand. People will.most of the work.for you. Also don't forget to give back bring a few cheeze pizzas can go a long way with the range and the people that shoot

thanks to armslist i just sold the last of my reloadable brass got $4 pound for it, wish i had a connection to a range other than sweeping up my own shells when i go

i ultrasonic clean the brass and sort it by caliber, brass brings a premium if its prepared properly for the buyer
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com

I only ended up going twice. Some one there had a problem with me going and not being a member even though I had permission from another person. It wasn't worth my friend getting into an argument so I just stopped. Pulled out about $70 worth of brass though.
