Ok so you are smashing leaded glass in an enclosed garage and your sweeping up the mess when you are done. If you are using anything less than a full face respirator you do realize your breathing in all the chemicals that are released when the glass gets smashed. Not to mention your then sweeping it up which usually will cause dust to fly around. I am not being an a-hole but if you are not taking proper precautions you will get very sick at the least if not cause serious health issues(cancer) to you and anyone else that is exposed to that area. It may not happen today, tomorrow or next year but it will happen. I know from experience what can happen to people that are exposed to toxins that at released into the air. The sickness doesn't come from high levels of exposure all the time. just prolonged exposure to low levels will get you over time. I had a close friend who worked the landfills post 9/11. She was a picture of health. 6 years later she was dead from a rare form of liver cancer. She was at the landfills sorting thru all that material for 18 months. It was determined that she got sick from all the contaminated stuff that she was sifting thru which out great leaders said was ok. Please stop doing what you are doing, for yourself and your family.

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” John Wayne-- The Shootist
