    The drive gear on the motor is small, so make sure the blades not touching anything when you start the motor up. (its at 'start up' that theres the most energy going thru those two gears, if its touching something the gear teeth chip off.),



    Make sure it gets up to full revs before you touch the disc to anything. (You can hear it 'ring out' when it gets to top revs & It lets the motor get up to the revs it was designed to do work at. It helps when the actual disc acts as a flywheel as well.)

    Thats just a general handy hint with any of these cutoff saws.
