    It would bog way down and go to slow. 1in is to thick. torch.

    Mettler, I use a concrete saw to cut lots of steel, they are very handy,like corycouch says the portability is their advantage but they are pretty slow on big stuff.I think ParkerFlyer is right , a torch would be better in this situation. Good luck . Josh
