I do not think I have the perfect set up, although the set up I do have has done each job nicely. I use a 2000 Ford F-150 Ext Cab Long Bed and a 5 x 10 small trailer. The only thing I would really like to improve on ( at this time ) is to have a trailer that runs full size tires, maybe in the 15" range.

This little set up has pulled over 3000 lbs of heavy melt torch metal quite a few times.



But as I see it, whatever vehicle you have now, is what you should use. Though I do advise you to be VERY careful not to over load it. Getting stuck on the interstate with 2 blown tires and broken leaf springs sucks MUCH ARSE !!!
