Plasma shines with the non ferris metals, how do you put a price on that.
Brass valves that have steel pipe threaded into them, I slice the valve into the pipe then tap the two halves of the pipe they fall out, if the brass valve is threaded onto a steep pipe slice the valve in half, give it a rap with the hammer then into the brass bucket.
If I have large restaurant equipment that are made from Stainless, I can cut into sheets making for a compact load. I do not take my copper, brass and stainless in on a daily basis.
In the next couple of days i will post some pictures of how I remove the field coils form starters and generators, the bolts that hold the steel
core I gouge them out using the plasma, give the casing a rap and the coils fall out.
I use the plasma to cut the heads of of the starter bolts, same thing to open up electric motors, it's fast. Motor has a v pulley cut the shaft to clear the way.
It;s all scrap and it don't have to look pretty.
70 amp plasma, 40 amp breaker on 220 volts, 5 hp compressor on 80 gallon tank
