I have used a splitting maul, different weights of sledge hammers, axes, and hatchets. All worked great if I was young enough and in shape. Now it is a combination of the skidsteer and torch. Torch if I want to sell separately and skidsteer if it goes as unprepared. I mix one or two appliances with farm machinery to get unprepared prices on the load.

Apparently I was young and in shape until this morning when a relatively innocuous barrel I was tipping from the truck into a bin tweaked the peace of mind out of my back lol. Currently considering using a skidsteer and torch on my lower back
