    Agreed. I keep the guard in place and only use proper, high-quality wheels. But I'll often set the grinder on its back, and run tubes or wire along it to remove aluminum sheet or insulation. A couple times, my hand got too close to the wheel and I'd scrape the knuckle on my thumb. Didn't do much, but reminded me of how quick it could do some real damage.

    People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

    WellI almost had a bad situation today, The ultrathin wheels dont fit on my grinder! so no harm though just took it off and put on a thicker cutoff wheel, works great and is allot of fun!

    That's what I thought when I got my grinder. Then a fellow member pointed out that I need to take the bushing off and turn it around.
