Truck advice for a car guy...

I worry, too, about stuff blowing out of the back of a truck-- a lot of the steel I end up with is light, flat appliance steel. Has anybody had problems keeping their goodies in the bed while going down the highway?

That is why they make ratchet straps, the small ones come 4 or 5 to a pack for about 19.95. I think their about 1 1/2" wide.
I use multiple rubber bungee cords, picked them up off the highway where semi's would lose them.
