Just an idea, but if you have access to trailer house frames, there are different styles but many of them are between 7 inches and 11 inches x 2 to 3 inches wide. I've stockpiled a few of them and intend to lay them flat to make trailer floors. They wouldn't make a solid floor so if you can tolerate spaces, they would be cheap and durable. I'm going to be taking a near new floor out of a 24 ft stock trailer and use it either in my trailer that needs new boards or use them for a deck extension on our house. I used some last year and they're treated and better than pine by far. I did make a trailer last year and used 1 inch lumber but not happy with it. I used it on the floor and sides and it was feather light. Here's the pic.
