Ive got a similar setup,with the angle iron raised around the edge, thats the one problem ive had,there pretty careful at the scrap yard, had a new kid one day snagged my angle iron with the claw, had a twist to straighten out. some hooks or holes to attach the ratchet straps would be a big assit.
Might want to go with holes as add on hooks tend to grab the clothes as your walking by/working close by.
