Thanks Mick! I really wish I hadn't of spent alot of time stripping all that wire. Now, I have a huge mess to clean up. LOL The yards should still take it as "aluminum wire", right?

What I do is take my mini bolt cutters, and cut the degaussing wire into about 6 inch sections...then I just find where the tape starts and start unraveling it. After a couple tries, you can actually just pull the tape straight off without doing hand circles.Originally Posted by Rob_B
