The caretaker is a lazy man, rather than remove an offending post would simply remove the complete thread, preserving this forum would be akin to flogging a dead horse.

Here's an idea for some of our senior members, get together and figure out a name for a new site, give admin privileges to each trusted senior suggest at least three to cover an act of god which renders a member incapable of holding office due to sickness or death.

Next would be to assign moderator privileges to a couple of board members, from this forum we have learned what categories are relevant and those which are of no use maybe omitted from the tree.

Forum sticky's are getting old, for topics that lead into being an instructional or howto add it to a Wiki page, then newbies could be refereed to the wiki page.
