With that being said, "tin" usually refers to light iron, shred, pressed metal, or sheet steel.
Real tin is non magnetic, and found in modern solder, old ceiling tiles, very old sheet metal, as an alloy in airplane windows and some digital displays, pewter, and electrodes in some lithium batteries ( dangerous to get ).
